Caring for Afro shouldn't be expensive
I am one of those people who spent hours watching natural hair tutorials on YouTube, read thousands of blogs and bought unnecessary expensive products which did not benefit my hair in any way. It wasn't until the day I asked myself a few questions, questions such as how come my Mom's hair is shoulder length when she never used 5 products on her hair? I then made a decision to find cheap hair products which will do the job & avoided using too many products on my hair. BOY! I have never been happier! My hair started to grow exponentially. Here is what I am currently using:
I have soft hair which makes my hair prone to breaking and on top of that I wash my hair often because of my scalp special condition. Given that I was my hair often, the last thing I want is an expensive shampoo. My choice of Shampoo is a cheap good shampoo, really! This Shampoo from Dark n Lovely AU Naturale range does it for me. It is cheap, smells so good and lathers quickly.
3. Conditioning

4. Moisturising Detangling
This is a very important step in my regimen, given the temperatures in Namibia right now it is very important to keep my hair moisturized. I use the mighty Dark n Lovely AU Naturale Plating Pudding or Afro moisturizing butter ( depending on how I want to style my hair). LISTEN this is my favorite product in the range. It smells so good, very moisturizing and leaves the hair soft and smiling. I cannot leave without this product at all and my hair absolutely loves it.
Honestly, Natural hair should not cost you a lot of money, do not buy products just because you have seen it on YouTube. Try the cheaper product lines in Clicks, Cosmetica, Dischem ETC and see what works for you. BOTTOM line is Natural care should not be expensive.
I hope this inspired you to explore cheaper options for your hair.
Until next time.
Cheers!
